if the pump has been gone thru in the last couple of years lets say 4 then there is no worries but befor that time then yes they changed the material out to be used in our pumps about 5 years ago because of the change from 5000ppm to the 500ppm now with the change to 15ppm the orings in the injecters start leaking sooner so i'm trying out the orings used for the steam cleaners they withstand heat and also oil and gas will not hurt them cost about .22 each and are brown or red in color so far after 15000 miles no probs
