South of Lincoln. It's not gonna stick around but it's gonna snow, even I'm pretty certain of that judging by the front that's moving in.

:rotflmao No kidding.
Saw enough of it last year and actually got tired of plowing it.
11 days straight last year finding places to put that crap.
Yeah it was good money tho.

I hear ya bout workin on the truck. I've got to stuff that C-6 under Mater, replace leaky return lines and swap in some springs I got from Aric this summer at the rally.

Lots to do before that crap heads this way.

So since it was already sleeting and crap here when I got home today I decided to throw the radiator support back together and be done with that. It's not pretty but it'll get my by until I do some real body work to the thing and probably build a custom aluminum tube frame core support.
I'm confident that piece of lag iron reinforcing the outer frame rail will be plenty to take the load that both used to since it's 4x as thick as the original piece was. Sure if I wanted to spend a couple days on it I could make it look nice but I really don't care since this core support has been smashed at some point already as it is. It will get replaced someday with a better piece.

The AC condenser sits right up against the IC and the trans cooler bolts to those brackets hanging out front there. The AC condenser wont add that much space, the trans cooler would. I'm gonna cut those brackets off as soon as I get it in the truck because they are just wasting space for me.

Well, it didn't get finished tonight so guess who gets to finish their truck in a snow bank tomorrow. ME! YAY!
I would have had it done but yet again the incompetence of others has set me back almost half a day. Autometer will be getting a phone call and someone wont be able to sit down when I'm done with them. Out of the three new gauges I purchased, pyro, boost and oil temp, the pyro was missing about half the items it was supposed to come with for mounting options of the probe including the weld in bung that I normally use to put it in the crossover pipe. The oil temp gauge required the ordering of a special bung, a part # is given when you order the gauge. I didn't discover until this afternoon that the bung I had welded into the oil pan was not pipe thread, but was a specific thread given to Oxygen sensors and the only means of making the thing work was to drill and tap the thread protector plug for the sensor and seal it with a nylon gasket like a drain plug. I made my own pyro bung from some bar stock and drilled and tapped it as well.
It's just ridiculous that a person cannot depend on a company as well established as Autometer to get you the correct or complete parts that you order.
So anyway here are some pics from todays progress.
The turbo is on and its feed lines are hooked up. Lots of stuff done that you just cant see.

So, with the turbo in place and the engine in place in relation to the firewall, what does the clearance between the outlet and the firewall look like?

Lookin' good! ;Sweet

WTH Shaun, Did You do a body lift?

Also, get a cap on the IP feed line. You don't want anything contaminating the MP!
