^ bill, you are saying 10s is long enough right?

Im adding two check valves to my return system...although again..i dont understand why it has an effect since i have an electric pump
1 will go before the filter inlet, the other will go right after the IP return. I assume they have a 3-5 psi cracking pressure so the IP one will stay closed even if it drains back from behind it.
Or..should I just add the check valve all the way back before the fuel tank return..?

Previously I've seen people say it will have a air bubble unless the filter is clogged. Just the way those work.
Now I don't know if that's a fact or not. But the reasoning are sense. Lol

^perhaps it is cavitating the fuel via the solenoid motion. interesting.
But yeah, when i had a leaking return O ring on one injector earlier, the thing was pumping fuel all over the place, so..it works fine..

I think most of them act like that. At least I remember a couple threads here about it.
Basically the fuel level moves up once the filter starts clogging.
Is the filtering pre or post-pump on those?

I don't know why laserjock was @ ?? me. Thought he was asking if it was Me.

At 45*F , 10 seconds is not long enough GP cycle.

Couldn't answer yesterday, my right thumb and 1st finger is numb for some reason. Spilled a bowl of bean soup on my keyboard, had to buy a new one.:D

In regards to your injector that was wet, no problem there, if it can hold a fuel bubble on the end for a couple of minutes, but the pop pressure (1650) is low, that's why when you retarded the timing it started better.

I wouldn't be putting any check valves in, just another place for trouble. Your electric fuel lift pump should have one in it.

So drove it round etc etc. much less smoke on startup, eve with crappy start. no oil into compressor or turbine so thats good :D
still got a top side oil leak from..somewhere...will track it down eventually, But, the truck has like NO POWER.
i mean, i got foot to the floor just barely trying to maintain 70-75mph. EGT are about 700 at this point...I know for sure I had this pump turned all the way up, as it was on the truck before for a good 2 months, so its nto a pump issue..again..back to the injectors..Justin is sending me some fresh ones and I will send this set back. The engine revs slower and is not as snappy, also sounds quite retarded... Well see with new injectors..
New clutch feels very nice though, grabs right near the bottom of the floor and no slipping.
