I'm about to start experimenting with WMO (filtered down to 1 micron before it goes in the tanks), but I figured this was as good a time as any to buy a case of high quality fuel filters.

I have the stock mount for a diesel fuel filter, I've swapped out once since I've owned the truck with a Purolator brand (low mile vehicle atm). Wondering what the consensus is on high quality fuel filters and where I can buy them at a discount by the case.

Thanks

Sure am, should I not be?

They usually fail, causing air to get into the fuel system. Mine is failing right now, wont drain when I pull up on the plunger. But every once in a while I will go out and see a little puddle of diesel from where it has dripped out of that thing.

Mine had been replaced with an oddball industrial filter that didn't have a drain on the bottom and I couldn't find a replacement for it.

I replaced it with a wix filter head and filter, went to the hardware store and got the fittings and the tubing and a drain **** and have it working nicely now.
