bearing preload

first off i know this is primarily an engine forum, so any places you can refer me to that would better resources would be of great help.

long story short im putting the spindle nuts back on my dana 50 IFS manual locking front hubs and need a number to tourqe the cone bearing too.

1990 F250 4x4 7.3 IDI 3.54 dana 50 IFS front axle manual hubs

ive seen numbers suggested from 15-60 ft-lbs

theres a lock washer and a second nut that go on after the preload nut

any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS! thats an awesome bit of documentation to have

torque to 50 ft-lbs back off max of 90 degrees
