Battleborn Brakes Master Cylinder

Anyone know what master brake cylinder fits the battleborn brakes kit?
My OEM vacuum assist looks like it will bolt on, but I'm worried about it going ***** with the increased pressure.
I'm tempted to email him, but he's selling MC's, and is obviously keeping that info to himself, which is exactly what i would do in his shoes.
I do appreciate the quality in instructions in the hydro kit.
That said, I want a warranty from a chain parts store so I am covered six months from now.

Uh, yeah, about that.
After much gnashing of teeth and other turmoil I finally had to take the most drastic measure, and read the directions.
Wow, what a revelation.
The OEM one will work just fine.
Sometimes I wish I could just delete a post.

I knew it would fit , I matched it up to the hydro unit. I was just concerned about the extra pressure that will be exerted by the 1800psi PS pump compared to the -5lbs vacuum system.
Had visions of coming to a stop and blowing the master cylinder apart, just before plowing into some *** tin can.
I'm enjoying good insurance rates, gone are the days of needing a SR22 filed due to excessive/exhibition speed failure to stop for police, eluding, wheelies, drag racing and other fun tickets and/or weekends in jail.
-True story, one of the reasons I joined the Army was due to loosing my license for two years.
Figured if I can't drive I'll go shoot people.

All bs aside, I can't extol military service for young folks enough. I stumbled into it on a whim, and came out at the other end something completely different, with skills and perspective that served me well through the last 50 years.
In retrospect that crossroads was far more critical than I understood.
If there's other folks reading this that are able and considering, I promise you will be thankful you did for the rest of your life... as long as you don't keep doing stupid and discharge with honor.

Installing battle Born Brakes Hydro Boost is just like swapping in a different
Vacuum Booster. It`s plug and play,
Installed this on my 86. How ever I did a few years back up grade the rusty
86 MC to one for a 89. (what I asked for at O`Really`s)
Did need to open the holes a Lil bit on each out side of the MC holes. MC works
great.

The Battle Born Booster works great. Where the return line connects to the Booster,
the pipe the Hose connects to could have better Barbs to hold it.
I need to contact him and ask about it.
Now need to get my cra ppy Brakes to work...

"If any one does this on their 86 or older IDI, you will need to change the fittings
for the Brake Lines, 89 are larger....and you need to swap the 2 lines front to rear
etc.....86 front line is for the rear and 89 is for the front brakes.
The rear need the large fitting as used for the later trucks. Unscrewed the 2 halves,
removed the goodies inside. Then Tig Welded it back together. The "O" Ring would
not seal. It`s just used as a Bushing for the Brake line to screw into."

I went in the Navy just out of Hugh School just to get it over with. (1962)
And shooting and killing bad guys etc... we were lobing in 5"38 rounds.
Their range is 9 miles. Sure shakes the cra p out of the Ship when they send
them.

Get back home and the Hippy`s were rioting about the Viet Nam War, and
calling us Baby Killers.

I'm swapping out the PS to a hydro unit with the extra return port. Pretty sure those run at 1,800 psi, compared to the vacuum brake units that run about 1,500.
Haven't started reassembly yet, appreciate the info.

I went to PNP and went down the line and cut every brake line fitting I could find,
so I have an assortment.
I did replace the Brass Proportion valve, Figured mine had to be the original, and the
rubber "O" Rings /seals had to be pretty well gone. from the searching i did on them
and watching several YT Videos of guys taking them apart and explaining how they work.
Bought a new one, think was $35, and all probably made in China, for various prices.
Of course the front fitting was a different size from the original.

I thought changing the MC from the 86 to the 89, I could just bent the lines front to rear.
No way, you need to make new Brake lines from the MC to the PV Valve.
I use that Copper/Nickle brake line, easy to form.
I used this Lisle Brake line tool 33260, easy to use.

I was down the road from Monterey, lived in Santa Cruz and working for Cal Trans.
I got out of the Navy in 66 in San Diego.
They called us baby killers, now lots of them are in Politics and it`s them that think killing babies is ok.
We had some of them at work over the years, a strange bunch for sure.
The one`s back then are either died off or too old to protest....

Lot of the one`s protesting today, if you ask them, have no clue really why they are protesting.

I got out of the Navy in 66 in San Diego.

That's funny. The guy who was my shop foreman and then shop manager while I worked on IDIs was stationed there too. He probably was there a couple of years after you got out though. I'm pretty sure that he said he was in for four years. I'm also pretty sure that he said that he got out in 1972.
I also know a lady who was stationed next door on the Marine base for a time. She got out in the early 2010s though. She's a youngster. Only 38 right now.
