banks sidewinder wire?

there is a sensor connecting to the bottom of the oiler on my banks sidewinder im wondering what is for? is it a sensor or a power source for the oiler or what?

Oiler I'm presuming the oil feed line to the turbo?
That sensor should be the factory oil pressure sender / switch.

If it is the sensor that the arrow is pointing to, it is what Ron has said, the factory oil pressure sender.

These guys got it right. That sender is removed from the bellhousing area and a plug installed in its place. Then Banks installs it where you see it on the manifold. The feed line to the turbo comes off the drivers side bellhousing flange.
