Not sure what to do with the big battery cover if I make my own. Could do it alot cheaper than buying the kit . Anybody got pictures of one, homemade or store bought? Thanks.

Thanks. Is the filter a Baldwin, or do you know the part number? I thought someone had posted that filter number in another thread but I can't find it now. Looks like a paper filter instead of cotton, mesh, & oil. I made a similar set up for the IDI. Check it out. Gonna do it for the PSD now. Got money & it's time to play!!

Cool. Thanks for the numbers. How come nobody has those block off plates installed to make the setup draw cooler air instead of engine compartment temp air? Is that all BS or do they work?

Airflo is good people. I bought all my tube from them to make my 5" exhaust and also gathered my parts there for the open air intake, if you look at the pic I posted above you'll see the "big clamp" holding my filter, I think it was an additional $14 dollars on top of the 50 or so for the elbow, two constant torque clamps and air filter. My DIY kit cost me somewhere in the 65 to 70 dollar range.

In regards to the cold air block off plates............ not needed IMHO. You are better off doing the zoodad mod on your truck Scott.
