Any advice on Head R&R W/Banks Turbo?

I'm getting all of My ducks in a row to do the heads on My 7.3. Pretty sure I've got a bum valve, or two.

I've been inside My 6.9 a couple of times, but the Banks Turbo will add much more to the job.

I'd take any advice on working with the turbo. Removal/Installation, any tips, tricks, parts needed, etc.

If the Banks turbo is a sidewinder wastegated you will have plenty of issues getting the down pipe free from the exhaust pipe. The pipe clamp crushes the outside pipe into the inside pipe. Then as to try to pull them apart they wont move. MisterBill told me to use plenty of heat at the clamp area and sometimes it opens up. I ended up cutting my down pipe and buying another from Banks....... Pull the motor to do this head R&R... Its so much easier that way... No broken back issues...

Yeah, I hear Ya on removing the motor. I did the heads on My 6.9 twice, in body. I won't be doing that again.
