Hi Gang!

Can I use regular permatex silver on the turbo nuts and bolts? Nearest auto parts store is 40 minutes away plus I'd have to find a car to barrow. Will the silver do or would I be better dry?

Thanks for the help!

i used the silver on everything, manifold bolts, y pipe bolts, slip fitting on the up pipe and where the up pipe bolts to the turbo, i didn't use it for where the turbo bolts to the pedestal and i haven't had a problem with anything seizing up

I suggest reading the can label. That tells the max temp this anti sieze will handle. Bout the highest our exhaust system gets is 1200 degrees but only for short time. Some run even hotter than that but some jump out of perfectly good airplanes skydiving too. I feel any commercial grade will work well for us.
