I ditched the whole dual battery bit on my F-250 and bought one Odyssey
PC 2150 Specs:
2150 cranking amps for 5 seconds
1958 cranking amps for 10 seconds
1800 cranking amps for 15 seconds
1750 cranking amps for 20 seconds
Short circuit current over 5000A
100 amp hours
205 minute reserve capacity with 25amp load
CCA - 1150
I mounted the battery under the bed on the right side, ran new 00 tractor cable to the starter about 6 feet.
lastly I ditched the BS Mitsu OEM starter and purchased the mini starter that replaces the SMOKED starter I had before.
I hit the key and it is like a light switch, the engine is running. every time hot or cold.
that will never be a problem for me ever again.
