airbox removal

can someone enlighten me on how to get the stock airbox off

If I remember correctly (it happens sometimes ) you twist it 1/2 turn and pull it out, got those dog ears tabs on it I think

this thing aint twisting anywhere

Yup, pretty sure John has it right, just twist it out half or quarter turn.

it wouldnt twist by hand so i had to get the wrench out to do it

Yepper mine was in real good to, had to use the force multiplier to pop it loose
