Ok let just say, hypothetically, that a guy buys a truck a few weeks back and was getting ready to do an oil change, filter change, etc.
And lets just say that he goes to look at the air filter and discovers that there isn't one. At all. None. It goes to what looks like a half assed cold air intake but there is zero inside it. We can also assume he didn't really look at it because WHO THE HELL RUNS AN ENGINE WITHOUT AN AIR CLEANER?!??!
Ahem.
Anyways, it has a hose running to open air from the ATS turbo set up. Suggestions for a filter set up? Just toss a K&N on it? K&N is overhyped toss something else on it? Cover it with pantyhose? Leave it open 'cause IDI's just LOVE dust and road grit?
Grrrrr

WEll hell yeah.. The Banks filter really never did fit the turbo bell very well ans it had hardened over the years of use. So I was happy to give it up for a much better filter... This company has a great web site and a program where you can disign any filter you want them to make for you. I call that doing a good business.
just gotta razz ya a bit bud...
