I have read about adding an intercooler to my 6.9. I understand that this will greatly decrease the temp of my air going into my engine. I have found a couple complete intercooler setups from some Powerstrokes. My question is would these be able to work for me?? I just wanted to make sure before I went and bought them.

Yes hypermax sells a complete kit, and its all there and ready to go, but it is on the expensive side. Yes you can use a intercooler from a PSD, but you will have to fab up the tubing, and mounting portions of it. It can be done, and will be cheaper than the hypermax setup. But if you arent good with fabbing things up, then I say just buy the hypermax setup and be done with it.
