had to remove the cap for work party this weekend at our cabin. might leave it off due to some good size cracks in it. also none of the windows really sealed. still deciding if i want to find another one or put a tonnue cover on it.

Looking at it agin, it reminds me of a girl wearing a towel....its nice to keep things under it dry, but id rather look without it on!

to me it makes the bed look really long. and the way the body kit is, make it look like a western hauler bed almost.

although I like running without the camper shell, it makes the truck extremely practical for keeping stuff dry. I used to take it off in the summertime, but with the waste oil processor hiding in the bed, I'd like to keep it away from prying eyes, so the shell stays on.

It's a weird feeling taking the top off after a long time. I put my cap on in 98 the day I bought the truck(cap came off the 86 F250 6.9 that I traded in) I finally took it off for the first time in 2009, and man did it take some getting used to. I felt lost in parking lots, as the shell used to make it that much easier to find.

i agree with calvin if i had a top i would leave it on just to keep my junk dry when it rains and i would take it off when i needed it off. btw the trucks great both ways

oh it will be going back on in the winter. keep hunting stuff dry, and keeps the bed from being full of snow.

we have Prius-sized parking spaces in kali. with a CC dually you will take up four parking spaces. It's not hard to find my truck in a sea of small cars camper shell on or not.

No Joke! I couldn't believe it when I was out there. Even the friggen hardware stores are all setup for mini cars with no place to park a pickup cookoo
I don't know how the heck you guys park out there. If it were,nt for my handicap tags getting me a slightly larger spot ( sometimes, most of the businesses in that state are in violation of the law for minimum required spaces and there's usually some ******* in a jag with no tags parked in it), I would have given up and left the friggen state

Around here you can get a crew cab into the regular spots in most places without too much fuss
