you said this is a reman compressor, so we can assume you had a failure, did you thoroughly flush the system and install filters on the lines before installing that compressor?

Also, have you installed an electric pusher fan triggered to come on with the AC or do you rely only on your big clutch fan ? If the latter, get a big box fan and point it dead in front of your condenser and run it for 5 minutes at high idle speed and THEN take a reading with your manifold gauges and see what you get ( and yes, leave teh fan running the whole time ).

I did flush it, but didn't think to instal any filters. Part of me wants to live with it the way it is, it does cool the cab. The other part wants to just start fresh.

It was 75 on my way to work and the AC was nice and cold! To bad it's not 75* outside all the time.
