Since I no longer have the E4OD in the 93, I've been wondering if the transmission cooling part of the radiator would work as an oil cooler.

Is it worth the hassle? I remember reading here somewhere, about block plugs. Would they make a good oil supply? Where could the oil be returned to the crank case at?

This is just a random idea of mine.. No idea if it would even work properly.

I like it as an overall concept... You could route oil back into the engine just by hooking up a hose connection to the oil filler cap somehow.

The problem with using the A/T tube running through the stock radiator to cool your engine oil is that it will drop your oil pressure because of the small diameter of the line. Go with the type of system SHIP4BRAINS suggested. Those can be had with a bypass thermostat so you don't over pressure them when the weather's cold.
