I don't know him, and I don't normally post links to other forums so if it's frowned upon let me know...
for the record.
I have no problems with linking to other sites for educational purposes.
I have a problem with linking to other sites if you have a financial interest in and stand to profit from the link.
if the link is for profit, then make sure you talk to Mike/homer to do it properly so OB can see some advertising revenue also.

so....with the above in mind, you fall into the first. you're good to go.;Sweet

I'm a member at expedition portal also. Check there every day after I'm done here. His name is Spence and he's a member here as well. Just not very active. He pokes over here for technical stuff, but doesn't participate much. There's a couple of others from Expo that are members here. UHauler is one. He also has a pretty cool build going. One of our not to so famous members is over there as well.

Expo is a great place for those of you that like to camp to hang out.

Anyway. Spence is a very knowledgable guy with some great fabricating skills.

I tried to register and post a reply but for some reason the site won't let me post.

Anyway he mentioned that he plans to mount his turbo down low by the transmission but can't locate a scavenger pump to return the oil to the motor. If you get the chance mention to him that I did the same thing and that the factory mechanical fuel pump will do the trick. Or send him a link to my webshots album that has a few pictures of how I did it.

Thanks

Gentlemen,

Thanks for the comments on the Camper. It is a continual project which seems to eat up all my spare time and money, but I love it, and it certainly draws a crowd wherever I go.

Flatlander, I'd love to hear more about your use of the stock mechanical pump as a turbo oil scavenge pump. I'm looking for a foolproof solution that won't compromise the reliability of the powertrain....

Hey Spence, Welcome to Oilburners!

I really appreciate your project, very nice job! I have always loved the 4x4 vans and when you step it up a notch with the a Diesel High Top Extended Camper, that's just ;Sweet
