A/C clutch engages the disengages

I agree it would probably be a bandaid fix. I just want to have some ac since I'm in the truck several hours a day and it is getting pretty toasty.

If there is not shims or I cant fix it by modifying it somehow I'll probably just order a clutch and be done with it.

@Suleiman Saadeh , to let freon out you just connect the top part with out the can to the lower a/c line like you did when you filled it and squeeze and it release into atmosphere .

When the a/c is on full blast does the needle spike ?

I think it's your compressor if you just are hitting it and it kicks back on , clutch related possibly, just trying to rule out my theory so you are not just throwing parts at it.,

The air gap was definitely the issue. I didnt think there was a washer in the plate because I couldn't get it to come out till I used needle nose pliers. I thought maybe someone had already tried to remove the washer before or something.

Ac is blowing cold as the winter snow.

I really appreciate everyone's help.
