I replaced the switch in the dash for the blower motor and I only have high speed. The old switch, turns out, is okay. Since there is only two leads to the motor there is another component between the switch and the motor, right? Who knows what this part is and where it is? The wife gets a bit frosty with the A/C cranked all the way up. I don't mind what I see when I look over at her :Sly but sooner or later I'm going to run off the road! :rotflmao Any help would be great!

This was just covered over at TDS by Pete in the van section. But it's the rheostat, not sure where it is really on a truck, but on a van it's right under the hood next to the evaporator. It's a little black dealie held on by three screws. It will burn out and only allow high fan speed.

Thanks, Aaric. I got it. Ford calls it the blower motor resistor. Just to the driver side of the blower motor down by the inner fender. $19 so not too bad. Got all my fan speeds now!
