99 f350

Hey everyone

I am looking at a 99 f350 and want some input.

what milage should I be worried about. I know it has high miles but not sure the amount.

What issues did this year have? any known problemsa I need to look for. I will be trading out of a 92 f350 7.3 and i do not have much experience with the fords.

If it is a 6speed hand shaker then they had clutch hydraulic problems, Weak throwout bearing actuators and the clutch plates would lose the dampener springs. Most of the things listed happened between 50K and 110K. The hydraulic problem showed on my truck rather quickly due to towing a travel trailer. My truck was built in April of 1998. Hope this helps .
