I had a nice drive over to West Memphis today to meet up with clifdawg. The idi ran flawlessly over there and back. It's always nice to get it out in the interstate and let it work some. It was a nice experience to meet him too.
He has a 91 idi that will be getting a 12v cummins in it.

I hope you take a few pics of the install. I have that same intercooler and am pondering how to cut the radiator support and how to mount it. Tucking it in close will give more pipe sticking through to make working on the hose clamps easier. Most people seem to attach the top mounts facing forward. I wonder if the ears on the intercooler can be tucked behind/inside the radiator support pulling it farther back.

How much interest is there in these IC? I can get them fairly cheap here from my yard. Anyone know what it ended up costing to ship this one? Depending on how much shipping is I can get the 7.3 or 6.0 ones shipped ~$160ish.
