I had a oil leak develop on the oil filter adapter and replaced the gasket and o ring and it didn't leak for 3 or 4 days and then it started again and its the same leak at the same place. Any ideas?

Make sure it's not the filter itself.
Old oring can stick pretty good.
Also check the oil cooler lines.

none of the above. same leak same place. the replacement gasket was two gaskets with a piece of metal between them is that the standard replacement gasket now?
