94 F-350 IDIT Build Thread

Pulled my valve covers off the Factory engine that was in my truck to sell because I am no longer going to be using them, they sold within 20 minutes.

However it is very odd to see all this condensation everywhere..

I scored a sub 80k mile motor last night my buddy will be picking it up for me Friday morning. Figure I'll stud it, and speed this process up.

Also these motors are not hard to prep to be pulled, I did it in about 3 hours with limited tools in my driveway, only thing left is to drain coolant and remove the turbo.

When the trucks back up and running this one is getting torn down and then we will find out for sure

Man that's a lot of condensation. It was enough to make the ground look wet too!

Pick up the new longblock with 76k miles with paperwork tomorrow, very pumped.

@Thewespaul how much TA31 oil pan sealant do you recommend? Will 1 tube suffice or is 2 needed?

Well , just gotta drain coolant, pull accessories, and the turbo and aside from the bell housing and converter bolts... shes ready to come out.

Headgasket blew between the rear two pass cylinders. All the other injectors were clean and dry, last two were soaked.

Injectors are going out the CDD for cleaning and pop test tomorrow.
