well just got back in and took it for a drive about 8 miles lights still blinking I checked codes again and still getting a 62 and now a 26 also?

Code 26 is TOT out of range code. Transmission Oil Temp sensor. This sends the temp reading to the TCM. The TCM uses this signal to determine converter lock up.

TOT sensor is in the solenoid pack.

Okay, I'm not trying to Bogart your thread, but do you mean I should scan codes with KOEO WOT and not at idle?

ok so does this mean the s-pack needs to be replaced or can I pull it out and clean it?

TOT failure requires the pack to be replaced. Its built into the pack.

ok guys well I have an update its been a busy weekend I went ahead and replaced the torque converter and so far so good! I spoke with one of the techs at the local dealership and he said my TOT code could of been just from unplugging the solenoid and cleaning it. I am not sure but drove about 150 miles today and all went well. while I had the tranny out went ahead and replaced the rear main seal and the front pump seal.
