I bought this truck to hire a driver to pull a gooseneck with, but after a talk with my insurance agent, and a discussion about the nightmares of workmen's comp insurance, I'm going to rethink my plans.
It's a 7.3 with a banks sidewinder turbo, and a five-speed tranny. It has a K&N air filter, Rear tank was removed for the mother of all frame hitches, monster overload springs, Decent tires, Unbelievably solid body, especially for the mid west. Two rust spots, both about the size of the end of my thumb.
All glass is good, A/C needs vacumned and charged. Has a banks pyrometer, and aftermarket oil pressure and water temp gauges. (Ford factory gauges suck)
It Idles at 40 psi cold, and runs great! the quietest diesel I've ever driven.
Currently, it's a Cab and chassis, but I have a Knapheide flatbed that I'll put on it, if you want.
Oilburners Price $3,000.00 This is a heads up for the oilburners. you guys get first shot. If it doesn't sell here, It'll go on ebay, where it will certainly bring what I'm asking.More pics tomorrow.
