A build thread would be cool. It could inspire me to do a OM617/YJ swap myself. I just so happen to have all the right components.

If I installed a 7.5mm injection pump where I would need a upgraded turbo, would a 7.3 idi factory turbo work well as a upgraded turbo?

You could start with the pump and see what boost and exhaust temperature is and go from there. The guy a doomsday diesel just came out with a turbo kit. I think pretty much a bolt in.

I saw it on his Facebook page about a week ago. I think you can get the 7.5mm pump through him also, but I'm not positive. He has a lot of conversion stuff for Toyotas and Jeeps.
