83 6.9

So my friend has an 83 6.9 and for some reason he keeps breaking or bending the rod in the master cylinder and the firewall keeps cracking... whats the problem ?
Is his clutch too heavy duty or what ?

Do a search for the firewall repair pieces. Ford used to sell them but they discontinued them. Terrapin manufacturing now makes them. Jason is a member here.
