Putting together the "soccer ball" 7.3 idiT with the girdle installed and now the problem has arisen of the lack of a stud on which to secure the oil pick up tube on. The studs used for the girdle eliminated the single stud on which the oil pick up tube used to be attached on.
Any suggestions?
I do like the back of the bracket being spot welded to the tube which makes moving it to a different location (where?) not a great possibility.
So, with the girdle in there and the fancy ARP studs, any suggestions as to how to secure this pick up tube to the girdle without drilling or welding?

Maybe @IDIoit can say. Awhile ago in a thread we were talking about engine builds and I recall him saying he studded the main.

Yep. I am thinking about opening the hole and deleting the washer. That should also help to kep the same amount of threads on the ARP stud also. Any idea on torque value?
Thank you in advance!!
