7.3 air intake?

can i remove it with out removing the injector pumpi want to paint stuff on my motor, now i know i need to remove the injector lines and i'm planing to replace the fuel fitter at the same time and do the valve cover gaskets

You can remove the lines from the pump without taking the pump out, but the bottom two lines will require the OTC tool made for the job, or a reasonable facsimile. Perhaps a crows foot with extension.

just remember that the intake gasket is a one time use gasket. there are compression areas around the intake ports.

oh yeah i know that i always get new gaskits when i do stuff like this

why dont you just remove the intake and the ip its not hard?

i'm worryed about messing with the timing

dont pull the housing it bolts too, and when you pull the pump just be sure and mark the pump to the housing some way that way it will be exactly the place it was before
