Do NOT ALLOW A SHOP TO GLUE IN THE SLEEVES... That just doesn't work. The glue acts as a barrier and the heat can't escape thru it into the parent metal, then into the coolant. The sleeves need to be installed with an interferance fit of about 1 to 3 thousands press. Glued in sleeves will slip. I have the proof of that. Sure,,,, I really overheated my motor and cracked both heads but the sleeves should not have slipped doen in the bores the 4 thousands to 6 thousands they did. If they are the stepped top sleeves they wont slip down if installed properly.
