Yeah it would be interesting, sometimes the condition Heath describes causes rough running and stalling at rock bottom rpm. The permanent fix is a rebuilt IP but many of us have gotten more mileage or extended the pump's life almost indefinitely by dosing it with a high dose of power service, howes or stanadyne lubricity formula. You could also check the large red wire and see if the wire or terminal for the FSS are loose.

check your steering column as well. The switch that goes on there halfway down might be loose and causing a short. I would check that ASAP b/c trucks have caught on fire that way
