2005 f550 axles????

Not an IDI question but you guys know everything else.
What axles are in a 2005 F550 4x4?

Dana Super 60 front, dana 120 rear with a an 8x220mm bolt pattern. Most likely with 4.88 gears. Front will be set up for radius arms and coils.

So was 05 the first year for the coil spring front suspension in a SD?

That is my plan in a a year or so. except i dont need 550 axles, just go with '05 and up f-350 axles 3.73 and discs all the way around, plus a better ride and tighter turning radius!! yes i know about the unit bearings and having to swap rims, but my truck hardly sees any offroad so i dont think the unit bearings will be much of a problem.

If you consider both axles, springs and all necessary bracketry for $1000 USD, then yes.

I'd definitely run the Super 60 with regular d60 unit hubs(8x170). Or swap knuckles to the old style and lose out on bigger brakes. Coil sprung, bigger u-joints and better brakes.
