2003 7.3 power stroke shuts off after 15 minutes

SOLVED. Thanks to greenskeeper. Glad that I didn’t dump a ton of money at it but before we did the H pop we replaced the IPR and that’s what it was

Try checking the ICP sensor.....should have about 5vdc.....if there's any oil around the pigtail plug, that's a sure indication of failure....

Drop the tank and check the socks. You might need to pick out the chunks.. it’s super cheep to check and that was what happened to me

The plastics break up and float around so when you fill up and drive they move around in the bottom of the tank. The suction pulls them into the fuel pickup and when the fuel pump stops sucking they are released (if your lucky) and float around until they get picked up again- eventually one will clog the line completely and then your in big trouble
