I lost my face to the jaws of a poodle
Ok yesterday was the first year anniversary of owning "The BEEF"Paid $500.00 and got the deal of the century. 
She's my first IDI and wouldn't trade it for anything. Had some issue on purchase. She wouldn't turn over and was found to be hydrolocked with water runoff from the air cleaner. Needed new tires and batteries all the way around.
Repairs/ upgrades done: New batteries, 6 new tires, fresh brake shoes and pads, New wheel cylinders, brake master cylinder, valve cover gaskets, rear seal, and clutch pedal mod. Mechanical gauges including a pyro.
Things needing done: Head gasket replacement x2, coolant filtration installation, DMF mod, sheet metal replacement and fresh paint.
I'm sure others will crop up as time goes on but total cost including purchase is right around $2,500.00. Not to bad of a deal I think.
