what is the preferred brand to use? and does anyone know the part number?

Some have used dieselRX controllers without issue while others have had bad luck with them. I like to stay with motocraft

I thought I was having some problems a while back with the Diesel RX stuff I bought. Turns out it was the bullet connectors on my harness. I had to replace them all. They were causing bad voltage to my plugs and burning them all out within 5k miles. I went through like 10 sets of plugs and 3 controllers in 2 years before I realized it was the connectors. Since I fixed those, I've had the same plugs and controller in with no problems.
