I just bought this truck a couple weeks ago and it is missing the rear tank. It has front tank and uses a cheap electric fuel pump. Besides the rear tank, what other parts are needed to get it in working order? It looks like it has the fuel lines, but not a hundred percent and if they do. I don't even know if the fuel lines run to the motor. I'm a newbie to this and need all the help I can get thanks.

check if you have the fuel switch valve.
the lines go from the tank to the valve.
if you dont have the valve, refer to the manual tank valve post in the tech articles.
the one i took out of my 87 ( i believe there mostly the same) was a 18 gallon tank.
i deleted the front tank and installed a 33 gallon tank.
they say its a bronco tank.
you would need the bottom sheild, which the tank rests on, the top straps, and filler neck.
i dont know about your area, but my area, the yards here puncture the tanks when a vehicle comes in.
there like 160 bucks bran new. a new sending unit is the same price as the tank.
most parts place carry them, rock auto, LMC , fordparts giant.
good luck!

Where is the tank valve located at?

That's right. It's on the frame rail, driver's side. Here is a picture, so you know what to look for.

That's the front end of the front tank on the left side of the picture. I've got another picture, somewhere, labeling the lines. Also, if you pull lines off the FSV, you'll need new clips to hold them in place when you put them back.

Found it. I had to rescan the picture, but I found it. You can see, also, the clips I mentioned. Ask for Dorman 800-015 at you local friendly parts store.

odds are they deleted it. and the tank at the same time.
and the valve is most likely the cause of the missing tank, those lill suckers are 250 bucks on e-bay

Wow, that's crazy expensive. The price from oriellys is 80 wonder now if that is the right one. It's going to be a fun project for me haha. Don't know anything about it. I do know I saw rubber hoses under neath it. Is that bad?

That "...love ya long time." thing has me worried.

Here you go. Brand new fresh pictures of the filler necks. As I recall you have a flatbed, and maybe metal filler necks, so I'm not sure these are what you want, but easy enough to send.

First the front.

And then the rear.

You'll have to deal with the viewing angles. Rolling around on the creeper I have limited choices.

thanks buddy! dont worry, you dont have the required equipment to take that statement seriously lol
looks like the filler necks are a 87-91 thing.
the 86 and prior are different
and the 92 and up are also.
no flatbed here, it was a long bed until i added the extra CC section, now it will be a 5 foot bed.
sorry IH444t, hijack'd thread is now yours again.
