Hello all been awhile, So im on my SECOND F350 cc build this year. I have a stripped 4x4 chassis now with all the body removed to swap a 2wd good one onto. New spring bushing all around installed and all painted black.
Truck is a 1990 Crew cab 4x4 7.3 (Dealers Diesel rebuild 100,000 miles ago) zf5, 3.55. ran and drove fine, but wasted body.
Questions 1: Which turbo to install? I have two Ats 093 Oem kits, ( already bought a rebuild kit for even though its fine and Banks down pipe) OR a Banks Non wastegate early 6.9 system, its missing a few pieces (easy fixes) but entire exhaust is there too. without the huge black Banks box these turbos are Much easier to work around than the ATS. will be highway driving in Mountains but limited pulling.
Question 2: Which pump to have rebuilt, I have two 1994 turbo ip's both run but high miles, or I have two low miles na pumps that run great! will be running BB's
future swap will be a studded .020 6.9 when the 7.3 cavitates out or drops a valve, not sure about Dealers Diesel engines! I'm a 6.9 fan
