Jeez, that thing again. I think they had the reserve at something like 20K. Sorry but it was someone's personal project and will never be worth what was put into it.

I see that it's 4wd, but I wonder if the front axle is hooked up and if so if the transfer case can handle the "full output" of that engine.

Front axle is hooked up, and it has a NP205, if any light truck transfer case is going to handle it, that one is.

I bet it is fun to listen to. Those 2 cycle engines have an idle that you don't mistake for anything else. Beautiful job for sure. It will never sell for over 10K I don't think.

Reminds me of my younger days. In the early 70's I put a 4-51 Detroit Diesel (when it was still GM Diesel) in a '53 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. I added 3 leaves to each front spring and it was a beast to turn at slow speed, I drove it for about 8 years. I put a light duty Clark 5 speed in it with a 5th OD. The engine had no valves at all, just intake and exhaust ports like a chain saw. Not much power and lots of noise but it was the only diesel powered non-commercial truck in the State of Washington and I had a heck of a time getting it licensed. I finally ended up with diesel truck license plates just like the big boys and I had a waver paper to buy fuel. It smoked so bad (dual 3" stacks) on #2 diesel I ran it on #1 diesel (stove oil) all the time. Fond memories -------
