I removed my CDR valve to clean it, because I don't know if it was ever done. It has grey paint overspray on it, so I'm guessing it's the original. C-6 trans. questions
I'm not as familiar with a C-6 as I am a TH400 or a TF727, so I'm hoping someone here can help......The shift points are too early for me. Cooling prob. solved- now where's the power?
O.K., for those that read my earlier post, the factory thermostat and a new waterpump did the trick. (Pump was o.k., but changed it anyway. Thermostat was incorrect- needs the factory one!) cooling sytem problems and questions...
I finally got to drive the truck in warmer weather and I guess I might have some problems. The temp was upper 80's and after about 15 minutes at 65 mph (3000 RPM) the temp was almost out of the "normal" range. The "ENGINE" light came on. Magazine options?
Does anyone know of a magazine that deals at least a little bit with the older diesels, and not entirely on the newer turbo diesels? I'd like to subscribe to one but don't have much interest in the new expensive stuff.- flybear
