im looking at buying a first gen banks set up it dosen't have the down pipe or cross over pipe what did the cross over look like and what kinda performance can i expect from this kit Boost number wise
okay i have removed my valves do to old stem seals that have made my exhaust ports full of this oily carbon deposits,how should i go about removing the oily carbon build up in the exhaust ports and off the valve stems,
while i have the heads disassembled what else should i do?
okay so i have started to do a headgasket job on my 86,6.9. and i look at the rockers arms and there seems to be wear on the rocker part,what is a safe tolorance for these?
I would also like to know how to tell if my heads are still good,should the valves be inset in the heads alittle.
okay so i have my 6.9 out of my truck and i went to put it on my engine stand and looked at the load rating 750max:rotflmao, so I build one out of 2'' sch,Pics soon
what do you guys use for holding your motor?
okay i am cleaning up my 6.9 and i removed the passanger side exhaust manifold and noticed that there was alot of black gooz inside the port and on the manifold, the cyclinder was passanger side rear
Is this a common thing or dose it mean a rebuild is due
okay so i have been seeing alot of talk about U-haul Ip,and u-haul Injectors,what makes these any better than what a idi came with from factory.Cause i thought that U-haul governed the speed of all there truck so won't it make u-haul stuff junk for a performance application
okay i bought a parts truck for the 86 6.9IDI and wannna know what i need for wiring from the parts truck for my swap. The motor is going into a 1979 ford f250 4x4.

okay truck was running great then i touched the fuel water seperator thinking it was routed on the re-turn lines too the tank. so i fired it back up ran great and then died so i tryed bleeding the hole system but and not getting and fuel from the bleeder valve on the fuel filter.or out of the 2...
okay i went outside today too start my truck gave it some ether and it started right up then died,tryed too start it again and nothing just cranks over .
what do you guys think the probleam is
