You are getting air into the fuel lines from worn o-rings. Search around a little and there should be plenty of part numbers for a fix.

Air is the first thing I'd check for, lock at the return lines and caps on the injectors also the lines from the fuel filter to the IP then follow the lines all the way to the fuel tanks.

If you can't find any leaks in the fuel system, put an electric fuel pump inline, and that will clear up funky starts. But like the others said, you got an air leak somewhere...most likely your return lines.
If you get serious about an electric pump, make sure to take out the factory lift pump and use a BBC fuel pump block-off plate. Lack of fuel/lubrication to the factory lift pump will cause it to eventually fail, and probably toss broken parts into the oil pan.

Another vote for an air/fuel leak at one or more of the injector fuel return caps or lines. A common problem. When you replace them, be careful not to bend a kink in the injector lines. It is much easier to move them with the vibration damper clamps removed. Be sure to replace them afterward, otherwise the vibration can cause an injector line to crack/fail.
