Glow plug question

Okay i have a chance too buy 8 glow plugs brand new they are from what ive read in the add are 88-94 will these fit my 83 6.9??

The 6.9 and 7.3 take different plugs. The 6.9 has blade connectors and the 7.3 has bullet connectors. Just be sure to get Beru plugs.

Yes. It would also be a good idea to go with the later controller or go manual.

I do believe you could, I think there's someone here that has done that, I can't remember for sure though.

I wouldn't think so, it's more for the early ones that tend to fail in the on position and burn up the GPs. The later ones usually fail in the off position.

I changed mine on the 86 to later ones from an88 used the 88 GP controler and a combnation of the two wireharness much quicker starts and no more holding the buton and counting

I haven't went manual yet just got the truck,i am tho cause it would be more than likley cheaper
