I run seafoam in my fuel filter from time to time. It works great! I dont like to use water because it doesn't compress.
I plan on filtering my wmo down to 2 microns. I have the filters for it........I just need to hook it all up so I can burn wmo in my 6.9

Sorry for raising the dead, but i was wondering if its ok to run both an electric fuel pump and a mech. I was thinking putting the electric one right after the switcher, but i really like the dependable mechanical fuel pump. I was just thinking this way i can prime my filters and give the mechanical pump a lil help since its sucking the heavier WMO. Any thoughts? Or should i just hook up a holley red and mount it to a switch?

just the electric, i tried both on a gasser and pumped the motor full of fuel(and not the right end either:eek: ) i dont know what it is but the mechanical pumps dont like having any pressure to them. if you are woried about reliability keep an extra cheep electric pump behind the seat.

I had both a mechanical and an electric on Mater this winter just to get past gelled fuel issues.
I just unplugged the electric after I got things all worked out but left it plumbed in. Tis a good thing I did cause the mechanical one crapped out last week and was gonna leave me stranded till I remember, hey dork plug the electric one back in. Hehe made it home.;Sweet

I think gear oil is a bit thick, I wouldnt use it any more than a gallon or two per tank at the max.

I've run 75W90 gear oil 50/50 and haven't had a problem... yetLOL. I only did it once so far though, and it was only about 3 gallons of gear oil with 3 gallons of ORD.
