@Scotty4 The Excursions are nice. I have 5 kids and pulled a travel trailer, so it was perfect choice for us. I will have owned it 13 years this year.

Last car I had was a P71 Crown Vic and it wasn’t too bad, just hard to get back out of. Momma is talking about a car for her in the future, but it will be her car, and I won’t drive it unless I have too.

Sounds like you have an expensive purchase in your future!

My 86 6.9 4x4 4 speed a few years back. Took that load up some very steep grade. I've upgraded the cooling system since then because she did overheat when I ran this route in the heat if the day.
Beautiful Okanogan Valley of central Washington.

Bought this truck in July to be my daily driver, $2200 bucks, truck ran fine, but the shocks and leafs were pretty spent so we replaced the leaf packs and cushioned them with Bilstein 5100s. Had the fuel system and transmission inspected, replaced the rotors with cut and drilled rotors and rebuilt calipers. Cleaned the chassis which had some deep caked mud, greases the joints and this truck has been running great. The two oil changes I’ve had have been pretty nasty, I flush it with SeaFoam to try to clear out some abuse but it’s been consistently running better. We just had a 1500mile trip so we replaced the brake booster and master cylinder Before the trip and had the vacuum repaired while there. We need to adjust the modulator as now it doesn’t shift til 3,000rpm which sucked driving 13hrs back two days ago but mostly in third and we put it in 2nd for the dirt road home. Love this truck

Hi Fellas, this is one of the rigs that I have had for a while now. Too bad it is not an idi, but I am posting it anyway because I think it is a cool truck. This is a true Nite Bronco. 1992 5.8l e4od 3.55 limited slip. Old but everything works ;)

New to me - 1987 F250 XLT 6.9 IDI / No Turbo, Auto (C6?) original interior, cold A/C (Arizona) and manual windows! 94K original miles when I bought it. Now 96K miles. Runs great, starts immediately every time, no smoke, no blow-by, no rust, runs strong (but exhaust ticks?) Love this truck. Peeling paint is a bonus to me. Perfect ranch truck. Wish I'd bought a diesel truck before.

Second is my Detroit powered 400 HP / 1,100 ft. lbs. torque MM5

I had my last Detroit Diesel back in 1985. It was a 2 cycle 8V92TA rated at 425 hp and it was really a screaming Jimmy!!! I don't miss it much. I like the lower rpms in today's diesel engines. Dump the clutch and you are in the power curve.

1986 F350, 6.9idi 4spd on 37s. Currently have a 1997 Parts truck in the yard for the ZF5, and rebuilt & complete 1994 turbo setup sitting in the shed that needs to go in if I ever get the time.
