C6 Linkage Adjustment???
With the C6 Gear selector in "D", hang an 8 pound weight (like a 1 gallon plastic milk bottle filled with water to make eight pounds and some wire to make a hanger) from the selector lever. tranny jack and removal help please
6 Bell Housing Bolts - two on each side and two at the top. Torque converter bolts to the Flywheel / Flex plate - rotate engine to get to them. The HF tranny jack is a sloppy POS but it can be made to work. I know first hand...Be careful of it tipping or the tranny trying to roll off onto you...- THECACKLER

Does this look like a limited slip diff?
First let me say "Skru Welded Diffs". Second... Most clutch type slip differentials I have seen have a two piece carrier in order to assemble the clutch pack. You would typically see a parting line for the two halves.- THECACKLER

Non WG Banks setup.
Yeah, I went from a non gated Early Banks to a factory Ford/ATS with waste gate and upgraded to the 3" Outlet housing and down pipe and back. I tow heavy and I think I liked my Non W/G better on the hills. The Non W/G didn't have as much pep on the empty hauls as the ATS W/G'd one I have now...- THECACKLER

Help- NO glow plug action, in the middle of a move!!!
In a pinch I have connected a set of jumper cables to hot wire the GP's. Red to Bat +, Black to the lug that connects to the GP's themselves ( the zig-zag metal thing on the GPR ), Then run the jumpers up over the cowl and into the cab by the vent window to where I can manually power the GP's...- THECACKLER

How to grease hubs
I dip them in 90 wt., let them drain off and install them. The red grease is probably Lucas' "Red & Tacky" , some good stuff for sure but not in your hubs. Thanks for the p/n for the screws. X2 on the shipping. Assume like $100 per head. Go local if you can. You can possibly pick up heads for that much at a wrecking yard with a "no cracks" warranty and get them Magged at the shop you just went to. Some possible sources for Oil in your Valley Pan are the I/P O-ring seal to the housing, the Turbo Oil supply line at the Turbo, and the gasket between the Turbo center section and the Turbo Oil Drain tube.
