Overheating issues while plow is attached
My only concern with that is the electrical system already has a lot of strain with the plow. I think my alternator is only like 60 or 70 amps. I think a PSD has a lot bigger alternator than my 88.- maximus88

My buddy told me to run with the plow at an angle. I will try that and also try running her really close to the ground.- maximus88

My truck usually runs pretty cool to average. Never had an issue all summer with over heating. Anybody else have problems when the plow is attached? No problems whatsoever without plow attached. How close to the ground do you have the blade when driving. Is my Fan clutch bad? It is...- maximus88

Oh yeah, didn't think of that. That is pretty easy actually:D Found the actuator for 13.99 at Advanced Auto. We are supposed to get a little snow, so I am going to work on this tomorrow so I can plow my driveway.- maximus88

Okay cool, I thought that would be a hard part to find. I will look in the help section of the parts store tomorrow. I have it most of the way apart now, so it shouldn't be too bad. Thanks for all the help guys, I will let you know how it goes.- maximus88

Installing a push button
Well on top of needing a new lock cylinder, something else broke in my steering column not allowing the linkage to push the switch all the way for the starter. I can't pull the piece out without taking the 2nd half of the column off. It is a square piece of pot metal stock that seems to be 4-6...- maximus88

Carrier Removal
I am in the process of replacing ball joints,tie rods, axle u joints. When I pulled the front diff I ended up getting some sand/dirt in there. I want to pull the carrier out and make sure everything is clean. Looks like there is 4 bolts holding in the Ring and spider gears. Is it as easy as...- maximus88
