Hey guys,

I've got some time, and little $$$ so bear with me but as long as it's something I am FIRST capable of, and second can afford, I'd be happy to entertain suggestions for some tech one OH one's; meaning my usual pictutorials.

Coming soon!

Compression testing!

Hope a King pin rebuild...cost is factor

ZF re n re...got it...just don't have any ROUNDTUIT's in stock at this moment.

Lock RITE install in both front and rear.

maybe a SHOCKS one..

Just looking for ideas

Remember I've got a 91 1ton 4x ZF SRW so suggestions are welcome that I can do. I am happy to work with whatever I can, I'm swapping that 92 cab onto my chassis too, so that would be one of its OWN cause it's a RC on truck adding a SC which takes a bit of mods!

If it's a Brake job I suppose I could tear down and replace the damn rear brakes that are all new, just take off and reinstall....I don't know not really into that yet!

Just asking cause I like to do the pictutorials and enjoy writing them.

Please if interested in anything I can help with or what not leave a suggestion.

Some may get video like the Lubro Moly Diesel Purge. I'm playing with doing these, creating a web site and posting it all on there and here of course.

Thanks for reading and in advance suggestions, oh ya, suggestion on writing etc are all welcomed. DON"T expect me to follow if I don't like it and it doesn't suite my style ;Poke

If you end up doing the RC to SC swap, document it as well as you can, cause I am thinking of something similar on my truck...

Honestly on windshield installs, for the amount you have to spend on tools and supplies, and the odds of screwing it up, its pretty hard to beat what most mobil glass guys will do it for

True, but Al said they're a piece of cake. Just takes practice. LOL ;poke

Installation could be another story, but considering I could find a good used window at a salvage for cheap, it still saves money.

Let me see, Xacto knife, LOTS OF BLADES, soap and water and spray bottle, painters tool for paint rollers, (don't ask will show) and a couple tubes eurathane and a calking gun...not much invested there!

Just cause I said i'ts piece of cake...does that make it so? And ya its on the cheap, I'm going to remove a broken one and will document it as if it's a good one, then I'll install the good one....will that suffice?

LOL and thanks for reminding me, been raining here kinda low on pole now in wet!

I remember pulling a windshield at pick a part with a buddy of mine.. mind you it was in a dodge dakota.. (evil trucks they are btw) he never installed it but he is a man of many unfinished projects and thats a different story. .. it was a pain I heard the goop to install it is interesting to deal with.. never done it myself though.

When I read the title I was thinking you meant outdoor pics.cookoo
If your taking requests on outdoor stuff, I would say just start walking, then start taking pics when or where ever,
("use the force, Luke", kinda thing)

The pics on pickup stuff, IMHO the stuff you did under the frame on the Bronco was cool.
Don't know if you've ever done one, a rear brake conversion from drum to disk would be all right.;Sweet
The occasional pics of the good deals is good, but it does this ;Poke to the rest of us,:D

I guess you missed this thread here then? I throw stuff in there time to time. I can add more of the hike stuff, and once I'm Locked front n rear I'll be showing tons more while wheeling!

Thanks, I'll keep some of this in mind.

Disks are in the plan sometime LOL, including the rebuild of a set of 76-78 Eldorado calipers so I can retain the legality of park brake. I already have the calipers for rebuild. This one may take a bit of time as I've gotta shell out for parts UGH. When I have TIME, I have little $$$ when I have MONEY I have little time! For this reason I left it out for a while.

Thanks again good input!

The windshield is a nice job to "watch" being done... I just had the second windskield installed in my truck since I have owned it. The first piece was so pitted it was hard to see thru driving into the sun. The recient replacement was me washing the glas in the heat of the day. I heard the crack and saw it run from the top to bottom. Cost was $140.00 for new glass install.. The other was $225.00 years ago at my home.. Sometimes it pays to have friends... Al... I am thinking about repair items..
