Looks like the rigs that are outlawed here in clai. A 10 lug straight axle rig like that one would be great to have. Cali laws really suck here. I'm just wondering how long it will be before my rig is outlawed. I just know its coming but don't know when. Friggen treehuggers ruin everything that economic to drive. We can burn any oil and make it smell great. Can a prius do that...

Probably has to do with the fact that any diesel-powered vehicle in CA with a GVWR over 14K lbs either needs a DPF or similar retrofitted, or won't be able to register after 2015 or so (don't remember the exact year, and it's been pushed back a couple of times). Basically, F-350's are okay (for now), but F-450's are an endangered species...and you're going to see quite a few of them up for sale cheap in CA over the next few years.

I think I just Shed a Tear,... WOW What a beautiful rig and and a Great Price! No doubt that would be a $7,000 rig here in MI assuming it runs out as good as it look's.

Sorry about the Teaser But its screamin I wanna go to D&L Auto Sales even if Big Ed gets to set on her for LOOKS lol. Yes Warden you and Gary are right. That trucks GVWR for Ca Reg has takin away the last of her days and now is to sit out here and get scraped as it wont rust out very well. The price is not to far from where I live 30 miles and thats what the rigs is truly goin for. Its of no use to anyone and will be forgot about.

All are correct in saying that in a few years, this beauty will no longer be legal here in sunny CA.

Sure, the rust wont get us but the legislation will...

If you think about it, CA is the most populated state, there are no doubt more construction, towing, industrial, and so forth trucks out here than in any other state... There are HUGE bucks on the line for the auto industry in this legislation. There's no one fighting it because it's mostly the little guys that own older trucks like this, guys with limited funds to hire lobbyists and lawyers. There's a guy in my RV park who owns his own fleet of 3 construction equipment maintenance vehicles, all older international S1600's that are going to be taken off the road by this legislation. He doesn't have the cash to buy three new med. duty trucks, thanks to the banking stranglehold, he doesn't have the credit to take out a loan for them, so he's going to be out of business.

I'm sorry for the derail on this, but I am very much an outspoken opponent of this type of legislation. I live in this state, I agree we all need clean air to breathe. But we also deserve the right to provide for our families the best we can. This guy doesn't sit around on welfare. He has two kids and a wife. The guys who work for him all have families.

Derail it may be but why can we have 800 hp 69 camaros running around? or all these japper hatchbacks blowing icy blue stinky exhuast runnin on 110 with a ecu upgrade no where near a smoggable ride? Our trucks harm next to nothing only thing is all the new trucks that are out today wish that they could last half as long as ours.
