Here are some pics of my supercharger setup. My friend built it so that I could just have it sit on top and there is a little brace to hold it up using existing mounting spot. Also those 3"pipes on the side allow it so that I can use my intercooler easily with the setup. And obviously the big port is for where the intake hat would normally sit. So my first question is, there is a little butterfly valve on it but the actuator was already removed before I got the supercharger. On a diesel I wouldn't even need the pressure relief valve would I? If that is the case, how would you guys recommend disabling the valve or removing it? The valve and armature I am talking about are in pics four and five.

Also, eventually I want to have a turbo on it as well and my 093 won't fit cus the supercharger setup is too big. So, I was thinking of trading someone for an 088 system cus it would require less fabrication and changing of the supercharger mount cus it sits right behind the intake port. But my question was how far behind the intake is the closest part of the turbo. I believe the closest part of the turbo is the compressor side exducer but if I was able to clock the compressor housing, how far away are the housings from the intake port?

Also, how big are the up pipes and downpipe on an 088? I was talking to DeepRoots and he said the dp matched up well to his 3" exhaust, so did he mean it was 3"?

Also if anyone has any 088 for 093 turbo trade offers let me know. It will be a bit before I can get my truck from Idaho cus I keep having to spend money on other things but soon I will have it transported to San Diego. But anyway anyone interested just tell me and we can plan on doin the trade when I get it here. ;Sweet

Ya its gonna be belt driven. I even put a V belt pulley on it. But yeah that combined with a turbo will be awesome. Instant boost and good top end power all regulated to 20 psi.

The adapter is like 4"tall and I believe the supercharger is around 3" so it'll be fine. We actually had it mounted on my friends 1986 6.9 at one point and it fit, so I see no reason why it won't work on my truck. Won't know for sure til I get it on though when my truck is here.

My buddy essentially cut the hood then welded in 3" pieces of metal that tapered down at the front of the hood. Then the welds were ground down and bondo was applied. That's it in a nutshell and it looks pretty sick too!

I wish I could man. Its gonna be a lil bit cus the truck is in Idaho still and I just spent an ass ton of money I had saved to get it here on travel to Idaho to see my daughters and also spent money on a lawyer changing my custody agreement. But, it shouldn't be too long just gotta save $800 to get it here. I still also am thinking about that 088 turbo with it also and now I just need one! My 093 doesn't even come close to fitting! Haha. I really can't wait to see my power levels when I'm done either.

you put a single v belt on there???

That bypass, just wire it closed. thats fords way of bypassing boost to reduce load under part throttle conditions.

Just fyi if you have a single v belt unless its cogged. I run a M112 with a intercooled kit on my 5.4 crown victoria. I blow belts off the blower and you can see the belt dust trail coming off the back side.
